Look magnificent in this ruff collared and cuffed shirt!! The voluminous body of this shirt is neatly gathered into the yoke and the truly luxurious sleeves gather into a cuff with button closure. Kameez

Designed for comfort in hot, arid climates, the Kameez is the long tunic top that is worn with the Sirwal pants and some sort of draped head covering. This ensemble (the wearing of the tunic, pants, and long scarf/veil/turban) is also called Punjabi. The Fashion-Goddess.com Kameez is made of a quality cotton broadcloth and has deep slits up each side for air flow and freedom of movement.

People all across the northern most portions of Africa, all of the Middle East, and India have a history of wearing garments of this type. They are loose fitting, which is not only comfortable in hot climates, but it protects skin from the sun, and it hides the female form while in public places.

Jelek

Inspired by the gorgeous celebration ensembles worn by women of Prizren up until early 20th century.

This Jelek is one version of the short waistcoat that was worn. While most of the jeleks of Prizren were of velvet, this one is silk shantung and is trimmed in gold braid. Decorative buttons are closely spaced along the neckline, but the garment is actually closed at the bottom with hidden hooks.

Wear this jelek over the chemise. Once the jelek is hooked closed, the chemise will be held closed.
